Day 20 to 31 - May 30 to June 9

This post will cover our stay with our kids and grandkids in Algonquin, Il. Kelsey will graduate from high school on June 7th and shortly thereafter Jerad will return to Bradley University (with the bar in tow I am sure). In the mean time we will be working on some grandpa dos and some grandma dos as well as some grandpa cook and some grandma cook requests. Yesterday afternoon we had very high winds here and I heard a noticeable crack. This morning we awoke to the sound of chainsaws and they were removing a huge oak that broke and fell on the golf course across the street. We think of our many friends who are at Relay For Life this weekend and hope that they have a successful weekend.

Hi, Bets and I have been fallowing yur trip by watching this site. I haetried to leve comments a couple of times but my IQ seems to be a little on the low side. Glad you are there safe and sound. The weather reports we get gave a little reason for concern. Lots of love to both of you Kallie and Annie too.--Don & Bets

We sure missed you this weekend, but you were often talked about and thought of. The Relay went off beautifully. Ended shy of the goal at $196,000. Enjoy your visit with the family!

Hey you two! Relay is OVER - Thank the Lord. Weather was nice, money was good - I think with our matching funds our team will top our goal. We are #1 - no surprise there. I think we had something in the 13500 area turned in by Sat. night. There is still some money to come, and the matching funds are not in that total. I think they will go over 200,000 for the Relay. Hope you are having a GREAT TIME! We will see you when you get home.
