Day 39 - June 17

This morning we left the farm in Denmark, KS (said goodbye to Dorothy, Toto and the Wizard) and headed to Colorado. We had a nice windy drive. When we got to the "beautiful" KOA in Limon, CO we discovered that the super duper batteries that we installed before we left on the trip were so heavy that they had started to pull the rear pocket compartment loose from its mounts in the floor of the motor home. We have also lost the drawers in my nightstand which collapsed several days ago and this morning we noted that the mounts for the TV have pulled out of the cabinet. When (or if) we get this rig home, it will be in for a couple of weeks of serious maintenance and repairs. And one major scrub and cleaning session!!
